At Great Falls, Kalispell Flathead made quick work of both Great Falls schools in a trip to the Electric City to begin its season. 

The Bravettes went basically untested by Great Falls High, winning 25-8, 25-5 and 25-16. Tiana Johnson led the way with six kills and Xio Lopp chipped in 16 assists. Flathead tallied 11 aces in the match.

In its next game, CMR gave the Bravettes in 25-21 first set. From there, Flathead won 25-16 and 25-7 to complete a clean sweep. Johnson had 10 kills in Game 2 and Lizzie Sherwood led the defensive effort with 23 digs.
