Montana State Seniors Golf Tournament

BILLINGS — After one round of the 65th Montana State Senior Golf Tournament, three players are tied for the lead.

Craig Hurlbert of Magnolia and Dave Eames and Jerry Pearsall, both of Billings, all finished with scores of 67 on Tuesday. Defending champion Tom White of Bozeman shot a 68 for the fourth spot.

Hurlbert, Pearsall and White play in Freshman Flight 1 (ages 55-62), while Eames is in Sophomore Flight 1 (ages 63-69). All four played at Lake Hills Golf Course on Tuesday.

The three-day tournament is being held at three local courses: Lake Hills, Yellowstone Country Club and Laurel Golf Club. Play will resume Wednesday, and championship groupings will start Thursday at the Yellowstone Country Club beginning at 8:30 a.m.
