PABLO - The annual live auction and fund-raiser for Salish-Kootenai College Television will be Wednesday from 8 to 10 p.m.
Viewers can call in bids on a toll-free number, or go to the station in Pablo, to bid on donated items.
Several unique art items are included this year, including many Indian sculptures, a flute by James Ofstad, beadwork and various other goods and services.
For those wishing to donate, call 675-4800 or 883-1752. The auction is the high point of the annual fund-raising drive, which runs through Dec. 6.
Starting at 6 p.m. each day, the station is presenting local entertainment and skits with co-hosts Monty Moose and Pablo Pony Chop. Guests will include Gloria and Oscar plus some new characters.
Local entertainers also will participate, with James Bigcrane and his flutes, Wilson and McKee, Phoenix, Maris McTucker, the Ronan Jazz Band and Ronan Middle School Choir.

The station, which broadcasts on low power to many communities on the Flathead Reservation, is dependent to a large extent on public donations for the $60,000 per year operating costs.
"Considering the programs that we provide, I think it is a great investment for the community in news, entertainment and especially education," said Frank Tyro, SKC-TV manager.
SKC-TV receives no federal, state or tax support.
