Montana Committee for the Humanities at the University of Montana has fellowship money available for humanities research relating to Montana and the region. The deadline for proposals is Aug. 20.
Preference may be given to Montana residents; however, applicants may include any legal resident of the United States who demonstrates evidence of interest and accomplishment in the field of the humanities. Scholars and writers not seeking degrees are encouraged to apply. Typically no more than three fellowships of up to $4,000 will be awarded, with funds available Nov. 1.
