It should be a nice, balmy evening on Saturday as the Missoula Outdoor Cinema debuts with a comedy classic.

Take a "Vacation" over the weekend - and save yourself some gas. "National Lampoon's Vacation" is the opening movie for the season on the lawn of Missoula Head Start at 1001 Worden Ave.

Gates open at 8 p.m. and the movie starts at dusk. There is a $5 suggested donation.

On Friday, country band County Line headlines the second Malfunction Junction Barn Dance in the Missoula County Fairgrounds llama barn.

There will be no llamas to dance with, but it should be a packed affair nonetheless.

The dance starts at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are on sale at Rockin Rudy's and Gapwest.

Enjoy your weekend!
