RAVALLI, Mont. — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT), along with construction partner Riverside Contracting, Inc., will return to US Highway 93 (US 93) south of Ravalli from July 30 to August 1 to apply a seal and cover (chip seal), weather and other unforeseen factors permitting. Crews will be working Thursday through Saturday from 6 a.m. to 7 p.m.
The project extends from north of White Coyote Road, at mile marker 20, to Holt Street, mile marker 26.7.
Applying a chip seal after microsurfacing improves skid resistance and extends the service life of the roadway. Crews will return in 30–45 days to apply the final epoxy pavement markings.
