Jordan, Mont. — The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) and construction partner Prince, Inc. will resurface a section of Montana Highway 200 (MT 200), starting 12 miles east of Sand Springs and ending 12 miles west of Jordan, extending from mile markers 192.2 to 201. This resurfacing project will complete the MT 200 West of Jordan project that began in the spring of 2025.
Crews will be installing rumble strips, applying a seal and cover (chip seal), and restriping. Work is expected to begin July 27 and continue through August 7, weather and other factors permitting. Crews will return 45 days later to apply the final epoxy pavement markings.
Work will occur between 6 a.m. and 8 p.m. During working hours temporary traffic signals will be in place, and pilot cars will guide motorists through the project area.
