Mother Moose Gifts and Gallery, located at 3014 Brooks St, Missoula MT, is the outgrowth of Mother Moose Enterprises. Our company has 25 years+ of serving the mountain resort gift industry. The store features gifts designs of local artist/owner Peggy Kupper. Her work specializes in personalizable ornaments, figurines, snow globes, magnets, wooden picture frames and boxes with an American wildlife theme.. but that is not all. Using Peggy’s discerning eye for distinctive gifts, she has brought into the store a large selection of products with a distinctively unique Montana & north woods theme.
Since 1986, Peggy has been designing moose, bear and other American wildlife gifts. Her designs are inspired by her love and passion of animals. Her work can be best described as fun, cute, whimsical and sure to bring joy to all who view them. One reason Peggy’s artistic creations have had phenomenal success is they are all created personally incoporating people’s names and dates, or places visited. Her unique designs bring people memory of treasured times with family, friends and vacation travels.
Peggy takes great pleasure when designing and building a gift that fits you, a family member, or special friend. Family Charm Ornament and Davinci Bead Jewelry are designed and assembled within the store.. these are some of Peggy’s personal favorites. Both products will fit the needs of the special people or that special someone in your life. All gifts are crafted with love. Mother Moose is a Missoula based company owned by Larry and Peggy Kupper. The company features original designs by Peggy. These products and designs are retailed in many gift stores across the country and can be located within many of the National Parks.
The company was born off the Kupper’s kitchen table in Jackson Hole Wyoming in 1986. Mother Moose moved to Missoula Montana in 1994. The original product line featured painted wood wildlife. Today it has expanded to include a variety of options, including: whimsical sculpted ornaments, figurines, and magnets. We also feature wooden boxes and picture frames. Recently we have added glass and acrylic snow globes.
In 2010, Mother Moose moved into our new Brooks St building and opened Mother Moose Gifts and Gallery. The store not only offers our products but also features many Montana items and mountain themed gifts, art, jewelry and more. We welcome you, and hope you enjoy our unique store.
