Santa’s Helping Hands is a nonprofit organization that was started 23 years ago by Donna Larson. She has retired and her daughter Liz and granddaughter Brandy Touchstone have taken over. The families that Santa’s Helping Hands assists are working people who for some reason – illness, a death in the family, under-employment – will be facing a difficult Christmas. They could be your neighbors, honest hardworking people who need a helping hand this holiday season.
Boxes of food and gifts are delivered anonymously, as people have pride and Santa’s Helping Hands does its utmost to protect their identity. Santa’s Helping Hands also helps the elderly with emergency aid throughout the year with food, power and medicine.
If you need more information, would like to make a donation, or adopt a family, call Brandy at 824-3649 or Liz at 880-4546. Or email santashelpinghands2013@gmail.com. Items can also be dropped off at Target Range Market.
