HELENA, Mont. - The Carroll College women's soccer team picked up its first Cascade Collegiate Conference win of the 2026 season on Thursday evening with a five-goal outburst to top Northwest on Valley Bank Field at Nelson Stadium.
The Fighting Saints (2-2-3, 1-0-1) could do no wrong on Thursday, combining for five goals in their best offensive performance of the year while limiting the Eagles (2-3, 1-2) to just one score in the late stage of the match.
Sophomore Samantha Patch (Liberty Lake, Wash.) opened the scoring for the Saints in the 16th minute, putting away her first goal of the year off an assist from Carmen Anderson (Missoula, Mont. / JR). Patch received a pass at the top of the box, then flipped one over the Northwest keeper to get Carroll on the board.
The Saints doubled their advantage heading into the halftime break as Delaney Moczan (Las Vegas, Nev. / R-JR) blasted a strike from nearly 30 yards out following a cross-in from Rachel McAllister (Brier, Wash. / JR).
