New lighting and signage
Two new pet areas near the car and truck parking areas
New treated septic system
New reverse osmosis (RO) filtration system for drinking water

The rest area parking lot was paved by Riverside Contracting Inc. as part of the Bad Route Interchange—Southwest project, which included rehabilitation of about five miles of I-94 extending to the Yellowstone River.
