DETROIT LAKES, Minn. -- Montana Tech's women's golf team played to a fourth-place finish Tuesday in Round 2 of the Mayville Fall Invite, moving up a spot in the standings of the first regular-season Frontier Conference tournament of the 2026-27 season.
Junior Casha Corder led the way for the Orediggers in the season-opener, carding a 10-over-par 82 on the 5,824-yard course at Wildflower Golf Course to finish the tournament in eighth at 17-over. Corder had three birdies in her final round.
Keni Wade was Montana Tech's low woman on Tuesday. The sophomore shot a 9-over 81 and wrapped up the 36-hole tournament at 21-over to place 13th.
Sophomore Ryann Walker was two strokes behind Wade on the leaderboard and tied for 14th at 23-over. She carded an 86 in Round 2 with a birdie.
Sophomore Olivia McGreevey (87) rounded out the Orediggers' scoring five Tuesday. She placed 24th in the tournament.
Montana Tech finished 94 strokes over par in the opening meet, finishing just four strokes behind third-place Carroll. Rocky Mountain won the title at 39-over, followed by second-place Bellevue at 65-over.
The Orediggers will hit the road again next week for the Beartooth Invitational, hosted by Rocky Mountain College at Laurel Golf Club in Laurel.
